Impromptu DIY / Last-minute opening madness!

Disaster has struck! I found out today that my business cards won't arrive until Tuesday. Why does requesting recycled paper take 3 extra days?? Anyway, I whipped out these little babies for the opening tomorrow. Printed on construction paper, DIY power, but at least you won't forget my name.

Thou Shalt Consume!

I'm so happy to have finished this piece! It is the FINAL solution for a long-fought battle over how to display this old print from 2010. It's a sort of oval, but very organic shape, which made framing absolutely impossible. Then I found a video on how to make t-shirt yarn, and came up with the  idea to make a sort of decree, like these old medieval flags-- part historical document, part law. And I would make this flag out of pre-consumed goods (ie. t-shirts from dig'n'save). Anyway, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. What do you think?
